I moved to Charlotte in March of 2024 and have been really lucky to make friends and find connections in a city that I love. But I noticed that while there's a lot of wonderful communities to be part of, there was also a noticeable lack of dedicated spaces for people who don't drink or who simply don't enjoy "drinking culture". There's so many misconceptions that being someone who doesn't drink means you're inherently boring and like to stay home 100% of the time. I wanted more freedom for people like me - the ones who enjoy dressing up and getting a fancy mocktail at an upscale bar just as much as they enjoy a cozy night in with friends.
Launched in 2025, Unboozy™ CLT is here to bridge that gap and become a space for fun, meaningful, and deeper connections.
